Other comments :
Please note that if you found this virus by using 'VScan Deep' or 'VScan
Analyze', and after running this program 'VScan Mem' did not report
anything, this will most certainly NOT be a virus. (Some of the files in
your LIBS: directory may be reported this way, but they are NOT likely to
be viruses.)
Also note that if VirusX or KV found either the BGS9 virus or the Return
of the Lamer virus where VScan found none, there is NO virus on that disk.
VirusX and KV are using a different scanning method than VScan, and
therefore report protection files and "leftovers" from previously infected
disks as viruses. Most notorious is VirusX who reports protections made
by VScan as 'Something that looks like the BGS9 virus'.
Please include the virus found with this form, and if it was found on a
floppy, please include this floppy unmodified. If the virus is a file
virus, please include both infected and uninfected versions of the file if
possible.
